Even the all-powerful Pointing has no control about the blind texts it is an almost unorthographic life One day however a small line of blind text by the name of Lorem Ipsum decided to leave for the far World of Grammar. The Big Oxmox advised her not to do so, because there were thousands of bad Commas, wild Question Marks and devious Semikoli, but the Little Blind Text didn’t listen.
Milan Pala (1982) was born in Prešov, Slovakia. He studied at the Conservatory of Ján Levoslav Bella in Banská Bystrica from 1996 to 2000 in the class of Mgr. Peter Strenáčik. After his graduation, he started to study at the Universität fur Musik und darstellende Kunst Wien. Then he studied at Janáček´s Academy of Musical Arts in Brno, where he graduated in the class of Dr. František Novotný.
Milan Pala was awarded prizes at several international solo and chamber music competitions (Concourse Moderne Riga, Leoš Janáček Competition Brno, Bohuslav Martinu Competition, etc.) He also took part in masterclasses, e.g. the master classes of Vladimir Spivakov in Zurich, of Jean Guillou as an interpreter of his Works and of Semion Yarosevic.
As a soloist, he performed with orchestras, for example with the Philharmonie Orchestra of Brno, the Slovak Philharmonie Orchestra, with the Radio Orchestra Kyiv, the Congress Orchestra of St. Petersburg, the Philharmonie Orchestra of St. Petersburg, the Capella of St. Petersburg and with conductors such as Theodor Guschlbauer, Howard Arman, Alexander Cernusenko, David Svee, Peter Gribanov, Leos Svarovsky, Ondrej Olos and others. He performed in various European countries, including Switzerland, France, Russia, Ukraine, Germany, Austria, Malta and others.
Milan Pala was awarded the Ľudovít Rajter prize in 2009 which is attributed to an extraordinary Slovak musician. Milan Pala is only the second Ľudovít Rajter prizeholder since it was awarded for the first time in 2006. His extraordinary and riveting interpretation, unique attitude to music and great critical acclaim is drawing public attention worldwide. It is not surprising that Milan Pala is becoming a symbol of Slovak national musical culture and leader of its interpretation.
Milan Paľa (1982) sa narodil v Prešove. Študoval na konzervatóriu Jána Levoslava Bellu v Banskej Bystrici (1996-2000) v triede Mgr. Petera Strenáčika. Po absolvovaní konzervatória pokračoval na viedenskej Universität fur Musik und darstellende Kunst a vysokoškolské štúdium ukončil na Janáčkovej akadémii múzických umení v Brne, kde absolvoval v triede doc. Františka Novotného.
Milan Paľa je nositeľom ocenení z domácich a medzinárodných súťaží, medzi ktoré patrí napr. Concourse Moderne Riga, Leoš Janáček Competition Brno, Bohuslav Martinu Competition, Anglo-Czecho-Slovak Trust London atď.
Počas svojho štúdia sa Milan Paľa zúčastnil niekoľkých medzinárodných majstrovských kurzov, z ktorých najvýznamnejšie sú Vladimíra Spivakova v Zurichu, Semiona Jaroševiča a Jeana Guillou, na ktorých sa niekoľkokrát zúčastnil aj ako interpret jeho diel.
Ako sólista spolupracoval so Státní filharmonii Brno, Slovenskou filharmóniou, Symfonickým orchestrom slovenského rozhlasu Bratislava, Rádiovým orchestrom Kijev, Petrohradským kongresovým orchesterom, Petrohradským filharmonickým orchesterom, Capella of St. Pe¬tersburg a dirigentmi ako Theodor Guschlbauer, Howard Arman, Alexander Cernusenko, Leos Svarovsky, Ondrej Olos,David Svee, Peter Gribanov a iní. Koncertoval vo Švajčiarsku, Francúzku, Rusku, na Ukrajine, Nemecku, Rakúsku, Malte...
V roku 2009 získal Milan Paľa Cenu Ľudovíta Rajtera. Cenu udeľuje Hudobné centrum mladej osobnosti slovenskej hudby. Milan Paľa je len druhým držiteľom tejto ceny, kedy bola prvý krát udelená v roku 2006 a získal ju nielen za výnimočné interpretačné kvality, ale aj za svoj ojedinelý prístup k slovenskej hudbe, ktorá si prostredníctvom jeho strhujúceho podania získava čoraz väčšiu pozornosť nielen na domácich, ale aj zahraničných pódiách.
